    Nar Phu Valley Trekking

Narphu valley trekking is a newly opened trekking trail in Annapurna region.This valley has been opened for the trekkers  since 2003. It is  one of the best regions for viewing majestic mountains in the high land. Trek to Nar phu valley up to Nar and Phu combines high peaks and passes, glaciers, remote villages, narrow canyons, lovely forests, amazing rock formations, yaks, Monastries and unique Himalayan cultures. The Phu is the most beautiful medieval village where you can learn the real life styles of Bhote communities enjoy and have a pleasure of the fabulous and typical landscape of the valley. Trekking In Nar Phu valley is probably the best and non tourist area of Annapurna trekking routes and for those who want to explore hidden valley and trek off the beaten crossing through Challenging high passes like Masokanto La (5099m), Kangla pass (5200m) & Tilicho Pass (5230m) with beautiful Lake Tilicho is situated at the higest altitude of the earth. Nar Phu has  the population about 300 inhabitants who depend on livestock, unlike most Bhotia people, whose trading patterns changed drastically after the Nepali Government closed borders with Tibet, the people of Nar and Phu valley were least affected by this change.Since Narphu valley trekking trail has been opened Himalaya journey trekking professional will take to you with amazing experience of Narphu valley in Annapurna region..

Since Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) recently extended its network to include Nar Phu Valley, it is preparing a suitable tourism development plan at the request of the government for undiscovered valley. Narphu valley trekking start from the famous trekking route of the Annapurna region Besi Sahar via walking through a unique Marsyandi valley then follow up off the beaten trails until you get Nar Phu. After visiting Narphu valley area than trek back to Manang, a beautiful village of Annapurna trail and continue trek to Tilicho route. After trekking about 5 days through Tilicho Lake (The highest lake in the world 4912m)and two beautiful but challenging passes of Annapurna trekking region trek to Jomsom then catch flight back to pokhara or continue trek to Annapurna loop via natural hot spring and reach the best view point of the Annapurna region known as Ghorepani Poon hill 3210m.

 

Itinerary of Nar Phu Valley Trekking - 23 days

 

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu International Airport Transfer and check in at hotel

Day 2: Visit to Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Swayambhunath and Katmandu Durbar Square

Day 3: Drive to Syange over night at the Camp

Day 4: Trek to Tal on Camp

Day 5: Trek to Koto ( 2700 m.)

Day 6: Trek to Dharmasala ( 3300m.)

Day 7: Trek to kyang (4000m.)

Day 8: Trek to Phu Gaun (4200m.)

Day 9: Trek to Rest day Climb to small summite (5000m.) for acclimatizations

Day 10: Trek to Junam Goth (3550m)

Day 11: Trek to Naar vilalge( 4150m.)

Day 12: Trek to Kangla Phedi (4530m.)

Day 13: Trek to Kangla pass to (5306m.) to Ngawal(3600m.)

Day 14: Trek to Manang (3450m.)

Day 15: Trek to Tilicho Base Camp (4150 m)

Day 16: Trek to High Camp (5250 m)

Day 17: Trek to New Pass (5340 m) - Northern side (4990 m)

Day 18: Trek to Kaisang (3510 m) Nilgiri Base camp

Day 19: Trek to Jomsom

Day 20: Fly to Pokhara and sight seeing with guide.

Day 21: Drive/Flight to Kathmandu

 

Day 22: Sight seeing in kathmandu valley and shopping.

    5. Medical evacuation in case of emergency
