The Tamang Heritage trek is one of the newly opened treks. This trek combines an enchanting journey where in you can enjoy the magnificent mountain views with the insight into the unique Tamang culture, alpine terrain, green meadows and rhododendron forest. Trekking through Tamang village gives you a wonderful opportunity to closely observe the community’s lifestyle, culture and craft such as bamboo baskets and mats.
Tamang Heritage trek presents the dramatic views of Langtang Lirung (7245m), Lang tang Kerung (Tibetan Village), Chumse Danda ridge (5122m), Dorje Lakpa (6989m), Jugal Himal, Ganesh Himal, Paldor peak, Shringi Himal, Manaslu and Sanjen Himal ranges. Glaciers of varying sizes and high altitude lakes namely Gosiakunda, Pravatikuda, Bhairavkunda and Dudhkunda are found along the Tamang Heritage trek

Details Itinerary :

Days01: Meeting upon arrival at Kathmandu International airport and transfer to Hotel

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Gatlang (2238m.) via Goljung which takes about 10 hours and by private Jeep8 hours

Day 03: Trek from Gatlang to Tatopani (2607m.) which takes about six hours. Tatopani mean there is Natural Hot spring

Day 04: Trek from Tatopani to Nagthali (3165m.) the View point Area from where we can see Sun Rise, Tibetan Side Village, and it takes about five hours.

Day 05: Trek from Nagthali (3165m.) To Timure (1762m.) and Rasuwagadi which takes about five hours

Day 06: Rasuwagadi to Syabrubesi (1467m.) 5 – 6 Hours

Day 07: Syabrubesi (1467m.) To Syabru Village 4 -5 Hours

Day 08: Syabru Village to Chollang pati 5 hours

Day 09: Chollang pati - Gosainkunda (4300M) 4hours

Day 10: Gosainkunda (4300M) – Dhunche (1800m) 6 -7 Hours down Hill

Day 11: Drive Back to Kathmandu

Days12: Kathmandu Heritage sites and Valley sightseeing
