Tilicho Lake is a lake formed by melting glacier waters from the Annapurna mountains and the Thorung mountain. Beside its scenic beauty this lake can be one of the best tourist hubs for the trekkers. According to Hindu religion, Tilicho lake is well known as holy spot. Tilicho lake which is also known as Kak Bhusundi Sarovar is the lake where a crow recited the Ramayana to Garuda (Vishnu’s vehicle) and Rama found some relief for missing Sita. The Ramayana says that Kak Bhusundi Sarovar is close to the Annapurna range (Ramayana-Hindu’s Ancient Scripts).
